Baoshan Black Tea

Yunnan high mountain black tea from Baoshan region (1900m+ elevation). 

Classic Taiwanese tea bushes of the Qing Xin variety were planted in the highland region of northwestern Yunnan Province. The tea is grown on ecological high-mountain tea plantations without the use of pesticides and chemicals.

This unique black tea was made from the leaves of oolong tea bushes using Fujian black tea technology. The result is a vibrant red tea reminiscent of traditional Da Hong Pao and Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong (something in between).

Aroma: roasted nuts, coffee, caramel.

Flavor: coffee-caramel, sweet and little spicy 

Effects: warming, tones.

Harvest: winter (November) 2025
