Baoshan Red Oolong

Yunnan high mountain oolong from Baoshan region (1900m+ elevation). 

Classic Taiwanese oolong tea bushes of the Qing Xin variety were planted in the highland region of northwestern Yunnan Province. The tea is grown on ecological high-mountain tea plantations without the use of pesticides and chemicals.

This oolong tea has a higher oxidation level and produced using the so-called red oolong ('Hong Shui') technology, which makes it similar to delicate black teas or like Hong Shui Taiwanese oolong.

Aroma: caramel, roasted nuts.

Flavor: floral-honey, sweet and soft. 

Effects: warming, a little relaxing but clears the mind. 

Harvest: winter (November) 2025
