Premium aged Shu Pu-erh with a rich flavor profile made from select leaves from large tea trees. The medium-pressed cake easily breaks apart by hand.
The name "Lao Ban Zhang" just refers to a famous tea village, which is also located in this region (the raw materials for the tea, of course, do not come from this village specifically).
Aroma: Bready, sweet-woody.
Flavor: Rich, dense, thick, yet soft and very nourishing. Well-balanced with pastry and creamy notes, hints of dark chocolate and spicy wood. Has a full, long, sweet aftertaste.
