Roasted Tie Guan Yin from Siping village (Anxi county, Fujian province)
After traditional processing technique used for "light" oolongs, this Tie Guan Yin was subjected to the Tang Bei process — roasting over charcoal (the same technique used to produce Wu Yi oolongs). This process gave the oolong its distinctive roasted character — a more dense, vibrant flavor with vanilla-creamy notes.
This tea is from autumn harvest it is considered the best time of the year for Tie Guan Yin.
Aroma: baked fruits and roasted nuts.
Taste: creamy-caramel, with notes of baked fruits.
