Powerful shu Pu-erh with a rich flavour profile made from select leaves from large tea trees in Bang Zhang area, Bulang Mountain.
"Sheng Tai" means "ecological" which refers to the tea gardens where the raw materials for this shu pu-erh come from.
Aroma: woody-caramel and sweet.
Flavour: rich, dense and thick. With creamy-woody and dark chocolate notes.
Effect: powerful, great morning shu.
Production: 2015, Yong Ming Tea Factory, Bulang Mountain, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China.
This tea is very similar in taste profile and raw materials to another pu-erh from the same factory Lao Ban Zhang 2014(the batch of which is already finished and was at the top of sales for several years).
