Gaba Ali Shan Premium

Medium-roasted Taiwanese Gaba Oolong. Harvested in the High Mountain Ali Shan tea region from Qing Xin bushes.

Compared to Gaba Ali Shan Classic, this tea has a softer and deeper taste and a lower degree of roasting.

In the late 1980s Japanese specialists developed a processing technique that minimizes oxygen exposure, allowing for tea with increased GABA content. Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) enhances concentration and productivity, slightly lowers blood pressure, relaxes, and alleviates tension.

Aroma: baked bread, sweet and some honey.

Flavor: soft and juicy, with sweet bread and dried fruit notes.

Effects: relaxing and meditative, yet gently concentrating.
