GABA tea is a specially processed oolong tea made in an oxygen-free environment, which increases the natural content of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). GABA oolong tea is known for its relaxing, stress-relieving effect, helping calm the mind while maintaining gentle focus and mental clarity.
A classic Taiwanese GABA Oolong from the high-mountain Ali Shan tea region, made from Qing Xin tea bushes. The leaves are rolled into spheres and lightly roasted. With a low degree of oxidation, this tea is close in character to classic green Taiwanese oolongs, while retaining the slight acidity and baked notes characteristic of GABA teas.
